Welcome to FannyPackTraveler!
This is Jenna and my husband Thomas. We are both Colorado natives in our 20s with full time careers. On our vacation time we are off traveling and seeing the world or… at Disney! If you’re like us, you want to travel but are busy in your careers — this blog will give you what you need to plan your own memorable experiences. We will show you the reality of what it’s like to travel — the good and the bad, the everything. Our hope is that we can share our experiences, our smart but also dumb decisions, and turn our lessons into helpful tips that others, like you, can use while traveling.
Our love for travel did not just happen overnight but it has completely become a huge part of who we are today. The love for travel started to pick up when my family started doing family vacations in lieu of Christmas presents. Having full-time jobs, we realized that we don’t care about materialistic things and would rather put our money into creating memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. That passion is what led me to create FannyPackTraveler.
Currently, our travels don’t consist of using a travel agent, it is mostly just planning it on our own or co-planning on family trips. This blog is not about budget travel like staying in hostels but, it isn’t about staying in bougie five star hotels.
While we can (and will) show you what things to do, places to go, places to eat, FannyPackTraveler is also dedicated to sharing the why behind what we do. We’re excited to share with you why we’ve created our memories to include the businesses that we did — from the well-known companies to a small hole-in-the-wall. We hope to show the beauty of the world in our own authentic and special way and share everything that makes our journey uniquely us.
